Zermatt ski pass — Prices and Information 2025

The winter season 2025 in Zermatt has begun. Are you still looking for the right ski pass offers? Like many other ski resorts, Zermatt recently introduced dynamic pricing. This makes it even more worthwhile for you to hit the pistes on days when it’s less crowded. What ski passes are available?

The ski passes from Zermatt Bergbahnen AG are divided into different categories for our guests to choose from. Please note that the passes and prices listed below refer exclusively to the ski area around Zermatt-Cervinia. You have unlimited use of your tickets and passes for the dates you purchase.

Zermatt ski pass (excluding the Cervinia ski area)

Ski pass Zermatt and “International” (with the Cervinia ski area)

Ski pass for beginners (only for the area above Zermatt, with facilities and slopes for beginners)

If you are staying in Täsch or Randa, there are special Zermatt ski ticket offers that include a shuttle train to and from Zermatt. It is also possible to combine a pass for Zermatt with the Val d’Aosta. Please note that the Zermatt with Val d’Aosta/Valtournenche offer can only be booked for 6, 7, 13, or 14 days, or for an entire season. A day pass is not available.

Important: With the SBB Half-Fare Card or GA Travelcard you do not receive any discounts on ski tickets.

Are there day passes, multi-day passes and flex ski passes?

The short answer is: Yes.

In order to offer you the greatest possible flexibility in our Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, you can freely decide how many days you would like to book the selected ski pass for. Basically, the longer you ski, the cheaper the ski ticket prices become for you. Flex ski passes also give you the freedom to choose which days you want to ski.

Zermatt ski pass (without the Cervinia ski resort)

The Zermatt ski pass can be booked from a duration of 1/2 day (from 12:15 pm) and up to 21 days. After that, the ski pass is available for 1 month or a whole season. The more days you book, the greater the discount. We have listed the most popular ski passes and the starting prices.

Ski pass prices for adults:

1/2 day (from 12.15 pm): from CHF 68.-

1 day: from CHF 88.-

3 days: from CHF 204.-

7 days: from CHF 426.-

1 month: from CHF 1078.-

Season rates: from CHF 1750.-

Ski pass prices for kids:

Bambini up to 8.99 years: ride for free with the Wolli Card*

Children from 9 to 15.99 years: 50 % discount on the price for adults

Teenagers from 16 to 19.99 years: 15% discount on adult price

Family tip: For children up to 15.99 years, the Zermatt ski pass is free every Saturday!

*The Wolli Card s available at Zermatt Bergbahnen sales points or online and is free of charge. Your child profits from various discounts throughout Zermatt.

Ski pass Zermatt and “International” (with the Cervinia ski resort)

Once Zermatt international and back? This is possible in the area around the Matterhorn. The Zermatt “International” ski pass can be booked for a minimum of 1 day and up to 21 days. After that, the ski pass is available for 1 month or an entire season. The more days you book, the greater the discounts and the lower the prices. We have listed the most popular rates and the starting prices.

Ski pass prices for adults:

1 day: from CHF 103.-

3 days: from CHF 228.-

7 days: from CHF 482.-

1 month: from CHF 1176.-

Season rates: from CHF 1850.-

Ski pass prices for children:

Bambini up to 8.99 years: ride for free with the Wolli Card*

Children from 9 to 15.99 years: 50 % discount on the price for adults

Teenagers from 16 to 19.99 years: 15 % discount on the price for adults

Ski pass for beginners

Would your children like to enjoy the ski slopes of Zermatt and the view of the Matterhorn for the first time? Or are you just learning to ski yourself and still feel a little unsure on the slopes? Zermatt also has the right offer for this — either as a day pass or for several days.

Ski pass prices for adults:

1 day: from CHF 59.-

2 days: from CHF 110.-

3 days: from CHF 155.-

4 days: from CHF 200.-

5 days: from CHF 244.-

6 days: from CHF 288.-

These ski pass prices are only valid for the following lifts: Sunnegga funicular, Sunnegga – Blauherd combined lift, Leisee Shuttle, Eisfluh chairlift, Findeln chairlift, Wolli beginners’ park.

The Flex Pass for the Zermatt Cervinia ski resort

One of the best Zermatt ski pass offers: The Flex Pass. It gives you a great deal of freedom; during your stay you choose the number of days you want to spend in the ski resort around the Matterhorn and Breuil Cervinia (France and Italy). So you can plan your skiing days on the days when the weather is at its best!

Flex Tip: The Flex Pass can be extended, but this only applies to passes valid for 5 days or more. These passes can then be extended once.
