New in our portfolio is the Penthouse in Haus Turquino C. The apartment is undergoing a full renovation, modernizing the entire apartment and adding two additional bathrooms, a new staircase and new decoration throughout. The renovation will be completed by the start of the 2023/2024 winter season and new photos will be added very soon.
This spacious duplex penthouse on the top two floors of Haus Turquino C sleeps up to 10 guests, has a total of 4 bedrooms and beautiful Matterhorn views. Haus Turquino is a 3 minute walk from Winkel Kunterbunt, the local convenience store, and the Winkelmatten chapel, from where you can hop on the bus to the centre. The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise valley station is a 7-10 minute walk away from the apartment and the center of Zermatt can be reached within 15 minutes on foot.
The apartment is on the second floor of Haus Turquino C (no elevator) and on this floor guests can enjoy the open living room area with fireplace and open kitchen / dining area, with access to a sunny balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. This floor also comprises a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a bedroom with two bunkbeds with a seperate bathroom in the hallway. The staircase leads to the upper floor, which comprises the master bedroom (double bed, ensuite bathroom and balcony with Matterhorn views) and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
Free WIFI, a TV and a furnished balcony with Matterhorn and other mountain views. Additional amenities include: washing machine in the apartment, kitchen utilities provided, flat-screen TV, cot on request and shared ski room in the building.
Please note that Haus Turquino C is not accessible by taxi; transportation is possible up until Winkel Kunterbunt and from here it is a short 3 minute walk to Haus Turquino C.
All reservations include the bed linen and towels, the final cleaning of the apartment, a complimentary electric taxi upon arrival in Zermatt, kitchen linen and dishwasher tablets, Swiss chocolates and coffee capsules on arrival and the tourist taxes.
